Nice to meet you!
This is the face I make when a design project really comes together 😄 I bring genuine enthusiasm to every project on top of strong research skills and thoughtful design.
About Me
I’m Aleigha (uh-lee-uh), here’s my story
Once upon a time, there was a detail-oriented accountant who kept finding herself more energized by the people and problems behind numbers than the spreadsheets in front of her.
Every day, she showed up to work feeling like something was off — like she was using only half of what she had to offer. She didn’t have a name for what was missing, just a quiet sense that there was a better fit out there somewhere.
But she’d always had it in her. Back in college, her creative outlet was a position at the campus fashion magazine plus designing a financial literacy board game from scratch. She gathered user feedback, iterated on it and loved every single second. She was doing UX before she knew the field existed.
One day, a friend held up a mirror and said: you know there’s a whole field built around exactly what you loved doing in college, right? And just like that, it clicked.
She took the leap trading spreadsheets for sticky notes, and bringing her analytical foundation with her into a field where empathy and craft live side by side. Four years of UX experience later, she specializes in health tech and behavior change, because she believes thoughtful design can genuinely support and empower people’s lives.
Because of that, she keeps going deeper and currently is pursuing her Master’s in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, while working full time, because halfway has never really been her style.
Until finally… well, she’s not done yet. But she’s exactly where she’s supposed to be: listening to users, translating their stories into experiences that feel intuitive and even a little delightful, and shaping products that don’t just work but matter.

Resume
what other say about me
“She is such a workhorse, she is committed, and will drop anything to assist you if you need help. She has an eye for detail and will jump in with both feet. She is also wonderfully caring, unique and humble. I am so honored to have her on my team, thanks for being a shining light.”
“Aleigha makes sure each design decision truly fits our needs and supports the people using these tools every day. I can’t thank her enough for her creativity, collaboration, and continued dedication!”
“It’s been a great collaboration. We present a problem or a metric that we want to improve, Product including Aleigha, asks a lot more questions, and then they start ideating while bringing us in throughout the process.”
